Gene Goudy is a Penn State graduate with a degree in Business Administration. He spent over thirteen years in various credit positions, including managing a staff of nearly 100. Gene’s management expertise was influenced through many years of involvement with the National Association of Credit Managers (NACM).
Gene earned the Certified Credit Executive designation and is an alumnus of the NACM Graduate School of Credit held at Dartmouth. He has been a chairman and board advisor for industry groups. Additionally, he is a published author contributing to magazines such as: Business Credit, The Asset Based Finance Journal, and Credit Today. Gene is an internationally recognized speaker on Trade Credit Risk.
Gene joined ARI in 2003, bringing a wealth of trade credit knowledge and experience with him. He approaches each relationship by learning about the operating process of the client. Once understood, he negotiates the most appropriate policy language. Then, Gene advises the client on the key provisions and compliance requirements. He states: “I’d like to think that we create security and growth opportunities through the use of trade credit insurance policies.”
He lives in Newtown, Pennsylvania, with his wife of 42 years.
